Course Summary

Learn the basics of playing the most popular instrument on the planet. During this course, you will learn parts of the guitar (fretboard, bridge, body etc.), basic open chords and chord name revision, music theory relating to guitar strings, beginner level strumming pattern and simple popular songs. Suitable for those who are absolute beginners, get started and learn a few tunes as you begin your musical journey. Enjoy a small class size!

About the tutor

Berne Fleming is dedicated to sharing his passion for guitar with others. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, he’ll help you progress at your own pace. With an Advanced Diploma from Victoria University and a year of the Music Performance degree under his belt, Berne brings both formal training and real-world experience as a member of a local alternative indie band.
