Course Summary
This course develops simple English language speaking,listening, reading and writing skills to develop relevantknowledge and skills for simple everyday communications,transactions and community participation.

Assessment methods include: Questioning (verbal or written), product based method (portfolio, listening text/written answers, reading text, spoken text), direct observation (role play, discussions)
Pathways
Education pathways – After achieving this qualification candidates may consider enrolling into 22640VIC Certificate III in EAL (Access). Employment pathways and other pathways could include voluntary or paid work and involvement in community organisations.

- Three days per week
- Duration: 20 weeks
- Class times: 9.30am to 3.00pm
- Course starts: July 2026. Rolling intake available until classes reach full capacity.
