Course Summary
This qualification prepares you for a role where you assist with learning activities, provide general support to students, and help with day‑to‑day classroom tasks. You’ll learn to work responsibly within school policies and procedures, using good judgement to support positive learning experiences.
Course Starts
Rolling admissions are available until classes reach full capacity
When
- 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
- 20 weeks duration (includes 100 hours of practical placement in a school)
- Class times: 9.30am to 3.00pm
- For hybrid study you must have access to a laptop/desktop, the Microsoft office package and an internet browser

The qualification
To be awarded this qualification, learners must successfully complete a total of 15 units of competency (includes 10 core and 5 electives). This program uses a range of delivery methods including face-to-face training, group discussion, individual questioning, group activity, simulation, online learning, handouts and practical placement.
